We are seeking a highly skilled Controls Engineer with over five years of experience in servicing Fanuc robots equipment, including mechanical and electrical repair and maintenance. This role requires hands-on support for repair activities, potentially during off-shifts such as Sundays and scheduled downtime. The engineer will work alongside unionized personnel, providing troubleshooting and first-call support during regular downtime calls.
Responsibilities
+ Service and repair Fanuc robots equipment, focusing on mechanical and electrical maintenance.
+ Collaborate closely with unionized skilled trades personnel during equipment repairs.
+ Provide troubleshooting and first-call support during regular downtime calls in the assigned shift.
+ Support repair activities during off-shifts, including Sundays and scheduled downtime.
+ Contribute to continuous improvements in Paint processing for Paint spray booths through robot programming.
Essential Skills
+ Over 5 years of experience with Fanuc robots equipment.
+ 3+ years of experience in paint spraying robots application (e.g., P500, P700, P1000).
+ Proficiency in PLC programming.
+ Expertise in robotics and automation.
+ Strong troubleshooting abilities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in robot programming to support continuous improvements.
+ Familiarity with Fanuc systems.
Work Environment
The position requires a flexible work schedule, including potential work during off-shifts such as Sundays and scheduled downtime. The engineer will work closely with unionized personnel in a collaborative environment, focusing on equipment maintenance and repair within a dynamic setting. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
