Job Summary and Responsibilities
Dignity Health Medical Group has a need for a EP Advanced Practitioner in Prescott, AZ (90 minutes from downtown Phoenix, AZ).
+ Collaborate closely with the Electrophysiologist.
+ Conduct thorough pre-procedure evaluations, including patient history review, physical assessments, and interpretation of diagnostic tests.
+ Educate patients and their families about the details of heart procedures, including risks, benefits, and post-procedure care instructions.
+ Assist in the coordination of patient care throughout the process, from pre-procedure preparation to post-procedure recovery and follow-up.
+ Monitor patients' progress and recovery following procedures, addressing any complications or concerns as they arise.
+ Provide ongoing patient education on medication management and lifestyle modifications to support long-term heart health.
+ Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, physicians and surgeons, and allied health professionals, to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards.

Job Requirements
PA Requirements:
+ Degree as a Physician Assistant
+ Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
+ Background in pre-med preferred
+ Minimum 3 years orthopedic PA experience, preferably in an acute setting.
+ Must hold and maintain: a.) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician Assistants License, b.) NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant.
+ Valid DEA registration.
+ Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff
NP Requirements:
+ Master's Degree in nursing. Graduate of accredited program for nurse practitioners
+ Compact state or Arizona RN license
+ Arizona Advanced Practice Nurse license
+ Surgical First Assist certification
+ Minimum of 3 years orthopedic NP experience, preferably in an acute setting.
+ Must hold and maintain National Certificate as a nurse practitioner in area of specialty under AZ regulations: a.) NP-AACN, b.) NP-AANP, c.) NP-ANCC, or d). NP-PNCB
+ Valid DEA registration
+ Must meet credentialing criteria for medical staff

Pay Range
$57.69 - $67.30 /hour
