Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Irvine, California. This is a long-term contract position where you will play a vital role in managing and optimizing our accounts receivable processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cash applications, billing, and commercial collections.
Responsibilities:
• Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Manage cash applications, ensuring timely and correct allocation of payments.
• Oversee commercial collections to maintain healthy customer accounts and reduce outstanding balances.
• Prepare invoices and ensure billing functions are completed in a timely manner.
• Monitor and analyze cash activity to ensure adherence to financial policies.
• Utilize SAP to maintain records, track payments, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and customer issues.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve accounts receivable processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all financial activities. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable processes and cash applications.
• Strong knowledge of commercial collections and billing functions.
• Familiarity with SAP and its applications in financial management.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to monitor and interpret cash activity.
• Strong communication skills for resolving customer and internal team issues.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in financial transactions.
• Understanding of compliance standards and best practices in accounts receivable.
