    Description

    We are looking for a skilled Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Somerset, New Jersey. This role requires an experienced, detail-oriented individual who can manage comprehensive bookkeeping tasks, ensuring financial accuracy and efficiency.     Bookkeeper Responsibilities:

    • Manage all aspects of bookkeeping, including accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

    • Perform accurate bank reconciliations to ensure financial statements align with transactions.

    • Utilize QuickBooks to record, organize, and maintain financial data.

    • Prepare detailed financial reports and statements for internal review.

    • Monitor and manage cash flow to support organizational needs.

    • Maintain compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

    • Collaborate with team members to streamline accounting processes.

    • Handle payroll processing and ensure timely distribution of payments.

    • Assist with audits and provide necessary documentation when required.

     

    Requirements • Proven experience as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or in a similar role.

     

    • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for financial management.

    • Strong knowledge of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.

    • Ability to perform accurate bank reconciliations.

    • Familiarity with generating financial statements and reports.

    • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

    • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in bookkeeping.

    • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines effectively.
