    Office Manager/Accounting Clerk

     

    Compensation: Up to $65,000 annually, depending on experience

     

    Our client, a well-established healthcare-related organization local to Cromwell, CT, is seeking an experienced Office Manager/Accounting Clerk to support daily operations in a small, collaborative office environment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented administrative professional with a strong background supporting accounting and administrative functions.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process payroll accurately and on time

    + Provide accounts payable support

    + Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and reports

    + Manage employee benefits administration and serve as a point of contact for benefits-related questions

    + Perform general administrative duties to support various members of the office team and board members

    + Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with internal procedures

    + Utilize Excel for reporting, tracking, and data analysis

    Qualifications

    + Prior experience in an office administration or office manager role, with direct support of accounting and administrative functions

    + Strong Excel skills (required)

    + Experience working in a small office environment where you have been a jack of all trades

    + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    + Ability to multitask and support a small team in a fast-paced office setting

    + Strong communication and problem-solving skills
