Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist to join our team in Indio, California on a contract basis. This role involves managing key financial processes such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations while ensuring the accuracy of financial records. Successful candidates will have a strong background in accounting functions and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with precision and efficiency.

• Complete and verify bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Monitor invoices, payments, and collections to keep financial operations on track.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to create, update, and maintain financial spreadsheets and databases.

• Assist in the preparation of month-end and year-end closing activities.

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records and transactions.

• Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal staff regarding financial matters.

• Support additional administrative and accounting tasks as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable.

• Proficiency in performing bank reconciliations independently.

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel for financial data management.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.

• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

• Customer service mindset with strong attention to detail in interaction skills.
