Description

Responsibilities

+ Prepare and post journal entries for routine daily, weekly, and monthly transactions.

+ Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.

+ Support month-end and year-end close processes, including balance sheet and income statement review and analysis. Ensure intercompany balances are properly reconciled.

+ Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and internal management reports.

+ Assist with annual audits by providing schedules, supporting documentation, and explanations for variances.

+ Support preparation of bank reporting, covenant calculations, and lender deliverables.

+ Perform ad hoc financial analysis, forecasting, and other analytical support as needed.

+ Participate in system implementations, consolidated reporting, and accounting related to acquisitions.

+ Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, transfers, and depreciation.

+ Ensure rental equipment and other fixed assets are recorded and depreciated in accordance with company policy.

+ Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies.

+ Assist in identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.

+ Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

+ Maintain well-organized, audit-ready financial records and documentation.

Requirements

Keys

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.

+ 5–7 years of experience in multi-entity corporate accounting or public accounting, with responsibility for preparing and issuing financial statements.

+ Experience with acquisition accounting, system implementations, and/or integrations strongly preferred.

+ Solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP.

+ Experience working with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, Texada, Sage Intacct, or similar platforms.

+ Familiarity with BI tools or consolidation and reporting systems is a plus.

+ Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through.

+ Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

+ Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
