Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Paramus, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position offering valuable hands-on experience in accounting processes. Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of invoices manually, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

• Handle accounts payable tasks, including entering invoices and verifying payments.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.

• Assist with bank reconciliations to ensure proper tracking of transactions.

• Support accounts receivable processes such as tracking and resolving outstanding payments.

• Prepare and post accounting entries in compliance with established guidelines.

• Adapt to varying accounts payable processes tailored to different business needs.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Familiarity with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong skills in Excel for data entry and financial analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle high volumes of transactions.

• Effective organizational and time management abilities.

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with internal teams.

• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving processes and systems.
