Description We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly motivated AP Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Stuart, Florida. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments. This position requires expertise in QuickBooks Online, construction industry knowledge, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the accounts payable process, including coding and processing invoices accurately and efficiently.

• Execute three-way matching procedures to ensure proper reconciliation of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts.

• Set up purchase orders and establish a structured approval process for payments.

• Perform check runs and oversee timely payment to vendors.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve AP workflows.

• Provide support for redesigning and optimizing the accounts payable process.

• Utilize QuickBooks Online to manage financial transactions and maintain up-to-date records.

• Ensure all invoices are coded properly and meet required standards.

• Perform other AP-related tasks as needed to support the team. Requirements • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online for managing financial processes and records.

• Proven experience in accounts payable, including invoice coding, processing, and check runs.

• Familiarity with three-way matching and purchase order procedures.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Prior experience in the construction industry, with knowledge of relevant financial practices.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

• Proficiency with 10-key tools and systems for accurate data entry.
