Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team in Miami, Florida. This role involves managing financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and assisting with month-end processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting skills and be fluent in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable transactions, including matching and batching purchase orders with packing slips.

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, such as collecting and posting payments.

• Maintain and update general ledger entries to ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Support month-end closing activities by preparing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to verify account accuracy.

• Oversee the purchasing process and manage invoice tracking systems.

• Prepare financial statements and reports in compliance with company standards.

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial operations and resolve discrepancies.

Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and accrual principles.

• Ability to perform bank and credit card reconciliations efficiently.

• Familiarity with month-end closing procedures and financial statement preparation.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is required.

• Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
