    Description

    Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Manager to lead the preparation and review of complex tax returns, oversee a major portfolio of 250–300+ business and individual tax clients, provide strategic tax planning and advisory services, mentor junior staff, and nurture strong client relationships.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Prepare and review individual, business, and various entity tax returns with a high degree of technical proficiency.

    + Manage a large portfolio of 250–300+ business and individual tax clients, ensuring excellent client service in tax planning and advice.

    + Conduct tax research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.

    + Collaborate closely with colleagues to guarantee timely and accurate tax filings.

    + Provide ongoing tax planning and general advisory support throughout the year to clients of varying size and complexity.

    + Proactively identify and communicate potential tax risks, issues, or planning opportunities to clients.

    + Assist with training, mentoring, and guiding junior staff, fostering professional development and technical growth.

    + Maintain and strengthen client relationships through continuous communication, problem-solving, and superior client service.

    Requirements

    Required Qualifications:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA license preferred.

    + 5+ years of progressive experience in tax accounting or tax management.

    + Demonstrated experience handling complex tax matters for a large client portfolio.

    + In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.

    + Experience mentoring junior staff and managing client relationships.

    + Strong research, analytical, and organizational skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
