Description

We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Jericho, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy of financial transactions and maintaining efficient accounting processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and proficiency in managing various financial tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and analysis to ensure the accuracy of financial data.

• Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external use.

• Reconcile accounts to maintain consistency and accuracy in records.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Process invoices and ensure timely payments.

• Perform accurate data entry to update financial systems.

• Collaborate with team members to address discrepancies and improve processes.

• Maintain organized documentation of all accounting transactions.

• Use Microsoft Excel for creating spreadsheets and analyzing data.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in accounting or a related field.

Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

• Experience in processing invoices and reconciling accounts.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Effective communication skills to handle financial inquiries and reporting
