Description

We are looking for a skilled and bilingual Payroll Specialist to join our team in Irwindale, CA and commute to the San Dimas, CA location as well. In this Contract to permanent position, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate payroll processing while maintaining compliance with regulations. This opportunity is ideal for an organized, detail-oriented individual fluent in Spanish and English, with a strong background in payroll systems and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Process payroll for employees in a timely and accurate manner using Kronos or similar systems.

• Maintain detailed payroll records, including timecards, deductions, and benefits data.

• Address employee payroll inquiries effectively in both Spanish and English.

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.

• Collaborate with HR and finance teams to resolve payroll-related issues.

• Generate reports and support audits to ensure payroll accuracy.

• Monitor payroll systems for improvements and assist in system updates as needed.

• Provide training or guidance to employees on payroll-related matters.

• Stay informed about changes in payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Requirements • Fluency in both Spanish and English is required.

• Proficiency in Kronos, UKG Pro, or similar payroll software.

• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, including deductions and compliance requirements.

• Experience handling payroll for over 500 employees across multiple states.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive information.

• Prior experience in payroll, HR, or accounting roles preferred.

• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with employees and teams.
