Robert Half is partnering with an Insurance Defense law firm looking for a dedicated Associate Attorney to join their firm in Boston. Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense litigation matters from inception to resolution.

• Prepare and draft legal motions, briefs, and other necessary documentation for court proceedings.

• Conduct thorough research and analysis of legal issues to support case strategy.

• Oversee discovery processes, including drafting requests, reviewing responses, and managing depositions.

• Represent clients in civil litigation hearings, mediations, and trials.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to develop effective case strategies.

• Maintain regular communication with clients to provide updates and address concerns.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations throughout case management.

• Stay current on changes in insurance defense law and related practices to provide informed counsel.

• Utilize legal software and tools to organize case files and streamline workflow.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

• 1-3 years practice experience within the Insurance Defense space

• Proficiency in civil litigation processes and procedures.

• Strong legal research and writing skills, including drafting motions and briefs.

• Experience managing discovery, including depositions and document review.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.

• Ability to handle multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

• Commitment to continuous growth and staying informed on industry developments.
