    Description

    Join a growing manufacturing company in the Portland, ME area as an IT Manager leading technology operations. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a small, collaborative environment and wants to have a direct impact on improving systems, processes, and reliability.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Oversee all IT operations, infrastructure, and support across the organization

    + Manage and maintain Microsoft-based technologies including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, and related services

    + Support, administer, and enhance the company’s ERP system, working closely with operations and finance teams

    + Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and security issues

    + Manage system upgrades, implementation projects, and vendor relationships

    + Develop IT policies, procedures, and best practices

    Qualifications

    + 5+ years of IT experience, including systems administration or IT management

    + Strong background with Microsoft technologies (Windows Server, Office 365, Azure AD, SQL preferred)

    + Hands‑on experience supporting an ERP system in a manufacturing environment

    + Solid understanding of networking, cybersecurity principles, and backup/recovery

    + Excellent problem‑solving skills and comfort working independently
