Description
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist with a strong foundation in end-user support and hands-on exposure to systems and networking. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting, supporting users, and gradually taking on more responsibility across infrastructure and network environments.
You will support daily IT operations while assisting with system administration, network maintenance, and escalated technical issues.
Key Responsibilities
+ Provide Level 1–2 technical support for end users (hardware, software, peripherals)
+ Troubleshoot Windows 10/11, basic macOS, and common business applications
+ Support Active Directory (user accounts, password resets, group membership)
+ Assist with Microsoft 365 administration (email, licensing, permissions)
+ Support basic networking tasks (LAN/WAN, switches, access points, connectivity issues)
+ Assist with system monitoring, patching, and backups
+ Escalate complex issues while assisting with resolution when possible
+ Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in a ticketing system
+ Support onboarding/offboarding of users and devices
+ Follow IT policies, security standards, and best practices
Requirements
Required Qualifications
+ 2+ years of experience in IT support or help desk
+ Working knowledge of Windows operating systems
+ Basic experience with Active Directory and Microsoft 365
+ Fundamental understanding of networking concepts (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
+ Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience in a systems or network support capacity
+ Exposure to servers, virtualization, or cloud platforms
+ Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, ConnectWise, etc.)
+ CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification
+ Experience supporting remote users and hybrid environments
