Description We are looking for a Front Desk Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Mountain View, California. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact, ensuring smooth and detail-oriented communication while managing front desk operations effectively. This position is ideal for someone with excellent organizational skills and a customer-focused mindset.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome and assist visitors and guests, ensuring a positive and detail-oriented first impression.
• Handle incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
• Manage concierge services, providing information and support to guests and employees as needed.
• Maintain the reception area, ensuring it is organized and presentable at all times.
• Coordinate and schedule appointments or meetings as required.
• Serve as a liaison between staff and external contacts, ensuring clear communication.
• Respond promptly to inquiries via phone or email, offering accurate information.
• Monitor and manage incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
• Ensure all front desk processes and procedures are followed diligently.
• Collaborate with other departments to support administrative tasks and ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in receptionist or front desk roles.
• Proficiency in handling multi-line phone systems and directing calls efficiently.
• Strong customer service skills with a detail-oriented and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with concierge services and providing guest support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities.
