    We are looking for a skilled Senior Accountant to join our team in Lexington-Fayette, Kentucky. In this role, you will oversee critical financial functions, including consolidation processes, reporting, and budgeting. You will play a key part in improving financial operations and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

    Responsibilities:

    • Consolidate financial data to support internal and external reporting needs, including monthly, quarterly, and year-end disclosures.

    • Conduct detailed intercompany reconciliations to ensure accuracy and consistency across subsidiaries.

    • Streamline financial processes by identifying opportunities for automation and implementing solutions.

    • Collaborate with subsidiaries to address accounting and reporting inquiries while ensuring compliance.

    • Perform technical accounting research and analysis to support financial decision-making.

    • Lead and support various aspects of the annual budgeting process.

    • Review and analyze budget-to-actual variances to identify key insights.

    • Manage lease accounting and ensure proper documentation and reporting.

    • Assist in preparing for audits by maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation.

    • Handle additional accounting and financial tasks as needed to support organizational goals.

     

    Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with 6–9 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

     

    • Proficiency in advanced Microsoft Excel techniques to support automation and data analysis.

    • Strong knowledge of general ledger functions, journal entries, and account reconciliations.

    • Experience with month-end close processes and bank reconciliations.

    • Familiarity with audit procedures and requirements.

    • CPA certification is preferred but not required.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
