Description
We are looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in Newtown, PA. This long-term contract position requires a proactive and resourceful individual who thrives in a structured office environment. The ideal candidate will excel at managing administrative tasks independently, ensuring smooth operations and supporting the department's needs effectively. This position is 100% on site and will begin immediately.
Responsibilities:
• Format, type, and edit various routine documents, including correspondence, memos, reports, and confidential materials.
• Prepare and update recurring internal reports by collecting and verifying data, addressing any issues with the manager.
• Maintain and organize department files, records, and publications, including confidential materials.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments, including notifying attendees and making necessary arrangements.
• Arrange domestic and international travel, ensuring all details are handled efficiently.
• Assist in compiling and managing records, statistics, and reports related to departmental operations and personnel changes.
• Administer programs, projects, and processes specific to the department's needs.
• Act as an administrative liaison for internal and external stakeholders regarding purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operational matters.
• Provide general support services to ensure smooth day-to-day functionality of the office.

Requirements • High School Diploma or equivalent education is required.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant administrative experience is essential.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, is mandatory.
• Ability to handle general office equipment efficiently.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage varying responsibilities.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with team members and external contacts.
• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
