    Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Specialist to assist our client in a long-term contract role. This position plays a key role in ensuring accurate, timely invoice processing and vendor payments while maintaining strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, system-savvy, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Process accounts payable transactions using JD Edwards, ensuring accurate invoice coding and timely entry.

    + Set up and maintain vendor records, monitor vendor accounts, and respond to vendor inquiries regarding invoices and payments.

    + Prepare and execute payments, including positive pay processing, while ensuring adherence to internal approval workflows.

    + Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to invoice and payment processing.

    + Generate and analyze Accounts Payable reports, including invoice aging and vendor activity.

    + Provide timely support to internal stakeholders and external vendors to resolve payment or invoice discrepancies.

    + Assist with 1099 reporting and compliance for U.S. entities.

    + Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within the Accounts Payable function.

    + Ensure accuracy and compliance across all Accounts Payable records and processes.

    Requirements

    + This is a true AP processing role

    + The job involves standard AP functions including 2-way and 3-way matching, invoice processing, and vendor management.

    + 1 year + of experience
