Description

We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in White Hall, Arkansas. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who excels at managing financial records and ensuring accuracy in accounting processes. Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports to support business decisions.

• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in compliance with company policies.

• Perform account reconciliations to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring all deadlines are met.

• Collaborate with team members to improve accounting practices and workflows.

• Monitor and enforce compliance with financial regulations and standards.

• Manage fixed asset schedules and depreciation calculations.

• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reconciliations.

• Generate reports and provide insights to management for strategic planning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in a similar role.

• Proficiency in accounts payable processes and related systems.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.

• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
