Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Full-Charge Bookkeeper to manage the complete accounting cycle and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial records. This role is responsible for performing all day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, month-end and year-end closing, payroll, and financial reporting with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Daily Accounting & Bookkeeping
+ Manage all aspects of the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments
+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments
+ Maintain vendor and customer records
+ Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements, and loan accounts
Payroll & Tax Support
+ Prepare and process biweekly payroll
+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
+ Prepare 1099s and assist with W-2 processing
+ Coordinate with external CPA firms during audits or tax season
Financial Reporting
+ Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
+ Maintain accurate balance sheet and income statement records
+ Monitor cash flow and provide insights and recommendations to management
+ Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
Administrative & Compliance
+ Maintain organized financial files and documentation
+ Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets
+ Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis or reporting needs

-SALARY RANGE: $30.00-35.00/hour

Requirements
Qualifications
+ 3–5+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
+ Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting
+ Proficiency in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online), Excel, and other accounting systems
+ Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
+ Excellent communication and time-management skills
+ Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
