Description

We are looking for an experienced Credit & Collections Manager to join our client's team in Huntsville, Alabama. This Contract to potential long-term position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial stability of our organization through effective management of business-to-business credit and collections. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in commercial credit analysis and collections while demonstrating strong decision-making and leadership skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the credit and collections process, ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding accounts.

• Conduct detailed credit analysis to evaluate risk and approve credit applications based on established criteria.

• Develop and implement strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt.

• Manage relationships with customers to address payment concerns and negotiate solutions.

• Review and maintain accurate records of all credit and collection activities.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve disputes and improve collection processes.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements to credit policies.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all credit and collections activities.

• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on collection progress and outstanding accounts.

• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance in credit and collections.

Requirements • Proven experience in business-to-business credit and collections management.

• Strong knowledge of commercial credit analysis and approval processes.

• Excellent ability to negotiate and resolve payment disputes with customers.

• Proficiency in financial data analysis and reporting.

• Familiarity with industry regulations and compliance standards.

• Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

• Ability to lead and develop a team effectively.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
