A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
This position is a technical field advisor. The
advisor helps the customer to build a powerplant. This includes offering advice
to get the supplied equipment working and helping to identify drawings and
protocols.
How You’ll Make an Impact(Responsibilities)
+ Serveas a technical advisor to customers during gas turbine commissioningactivities, ensuring safe and efficient execution.
+ Supportconstruction and commissioning teams by reviewing, interpreting, andutilizing technical manuals, drawings, and specifications.
+ Identify,document, and report technical issues, risks, or inadequacies, andcollaborate with stakeholders to drive resolution.
+ Provideon-site guidance to ensure commissioning activities align with projectrequirements, procedures, and safety standards.
+ Communicateprogress, findings, and recommendations clearly to internal teams andcustomer representatives.
What You Bring (Requirements)
+ Bachelor’sdegree in Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
+ Minimumof 15 years of experience in gas turbine commissioning or a closelyrelated field.
+ Strongverbal and written communication skills, with the ability to workeffectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
+ Proficiencyin common office software, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,and Outlook.
+ Provenability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented,field-based environment.
+ Mustbe legally authorized to work in the United States without current orfuture employer-sponsored work authorization (internal transfers may beconsidered for current Siemens Energy employees with valid visasponsorship).

Gas Services
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission
power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission
power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and
generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings,
modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
