    As an External Life Sales Advisor (Life Wholesaler) you will support efforts to help protect our customers with life insurance by assisting with several distribution models. You will work alongside agents (in WI, IL, IN, OH, and GA) on sales calls, consult and share best practices, and participate in group training sessions as well as collaborate with business partners to drive sales.

     

    You will report to a Senior Manager, External Distribution - Licensed (Life).

     

    In this primarily home-based role, you will spend 80% of your time (4+ days per week) working from home, proximate to this office locations (within approximately 50 miles): Madison, WI 53783. You may occasionally be asked to travel to an office location for in person engagement activities such as team meetings, trainings, and culture events.

    Position Compensation Range:

    $62,000.00 - $103,000.00

    Responsibilities:

    + Communicate product sales opportunities, product or procedure enhancements.

    + Implement life strategies to help increase life sales with distribution partners.

    + Recognize and provide recommendations or solutions when working with distribution partners, both internal and external.

    + Provide coaching on prospecting, sales skill, and product knowledge to distribution partners.

    + Assist agents with book of business reviews to identify immediate and potential sales opportunities.

    + Have knowledge of life insurance products and riders.

    + May be required to complete other assignments or participate in projects based upon skills, achievements, or experience.

    Requirements:

    + You will bring prior experience working with insurance agents.

    + Self-Motivated, prior sales experience with strong communication skills.

    + Ability to work collaboratively to manage multiple projects with a strong desire to succeed in a team environment.

    + Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.

    + Demonstrated effective experience leading people and/or projects; or, demonstrated effective leadership experience.

    + Your offer will be made contingent on the results of applicable background checks and signing a non-disclosure agreement for proprietary information, trade secrets, and inventions.

    + Sponsorship will not be considered for this position.

    Licenses:

    + Must have or obtain proper Life insurance license within three months of hire. License maintenance and continuing education required.

    + You must obtain one of these designations within 3-years: CLU, ChFC or CFP.

    + Resident Life license within 30 days of hire.

    + Non-resident Life license within 90 days of hire.

    + Valid driver's license required plus an acceptable driving record.

    + Required to maintain current, active license(s) status by continuing education and meeting all state, operating and regulatory requirements.
