About the role This position will work for our International Dock Products (IDP) company located in Pembroke Park, Florida. The Assembler is responsible for producing high-quality products and components by accurately assembling parts and subassemblies. This role requires careful preparation by reviewing assembly instructions, blueprints, and visual factory guides to ensure efficient and precise work. Assemblers play a key role in maintaining production standards and supporting the overall success of the manufacturing team. Responsibilities Assemble components according to work instructions, verbal guidance, drawings, and diagrams, following established sequences. Check output to ensure highest quality Examine connections for correct fit and securely fasten parts and subassemblies. Use power and hand-held tools as necessary for assembly. Monitor product quality and equipment performance, promptly reporting any issues to ensure standards are maintained. Inventory parts and tools used in the assembling process. Test finished products for defects. Accurately document production activities and quality checks using required forms. Keep the Manufacturing area clean of dust and debris. Maintain a safe and clean work environment by adhering to all safety procedures, rules, and regulations. Carry out additional duties as assigned to support production goals. Qualifications Must be bilingual in English & Spanish and demonstrate effective communication skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow both written and verbal instructions. Ability to multitask and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and measurement. Must demonstrate reliable attendance and have dependable transportation to and from the worksite. Work Environment & Physical Demands Must be able to stand for long periods of time. Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Able to work in an environment where noise levels may be higher due to machinery/equipment usage.
