VCA Ridge Road Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team.

Schedule: Full-Time, Weekdays, 2 to 3 Sat. a month, and rotating kennel on weekends.

Pay: $17-18/hr.

The successful candidate will be a believer in the possibilities of high quality veterinary medicine and patient care—with the expertise and technical know-how to make them happen.

As a member of the VCA team, your mission will be to win the confidence of every pet parent—by delivering an outstanding client experience—so they will partner with us for the lifelong care of their companion animals.

You’ve worked hard for your credentialing and we want you to use the knowledge that you’ve invested your time and talent in. In this position you will be supporting our Doctors and entire team by creating a positive, low-stress atmosphere for our clients and patients.

The skills that you will be utilizing include, but are not limited to:

+ Venipuncture

+ catheter placement

+ radiology

+ physical examinations and patient assessment

+ laboratory work

+ pharmacy

+ client education and care

+ compassionate care for our hospitalized and boarding patients

+ Assist doctors in exam room during patient appointments

+ Maintaining medical records

+ cleaning, sterilizing, stocking
