Gibbs Oil Company is excited to announce an opportunity for an Assistant Manager position at our convenience store. We are looking for an energetic and results-driven individual who is passionate about customer service and retail management.

Your main responsibilities will include:

+ Assisting in the oversight of daily store operations, ensuring high standards in customer service and store cleanliness.

+ Supporting the Store Manager in driving sales, managing inventory, and leading a successful sales team.

+ Training and developing staff to enhance their skills and ensure they meet company standards.

+ Implementing promotional strategies and maintaining product displays to maximize sales opportunities.

+ Handling customer inquiries and resolving any issues to optimize the shopping experience.

+ Completing daily paperwork and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements

Requirements:

+ Previous experience in retail or customer service, ideally in a supervisory capacity.

+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

+ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Ability to analyze sales data and manage inventory effectively.

+ Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

+ A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

+ Possession of a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for extended periods and lift items weighing up to 25 lbs.
