Job Overview
**Position Schedule:** Full-Time

At **Edward Jones** , our **Tech Finance team** plays a vital role in delivering timely, accurate financial information to Financial Advisors and Home Office associates. We manage and enhance key systems, including **PeopleSoft Financials (transitioning to Oracle Cloud ERP)** , SaaS applications, custom Java-based web applications, APIs, and batch programs. Our mission is to build and maintain technology solutions that empower the Finance division and align with the firm's vision.
As an **Engineer 3** , you will configure, enhance, and support PeopleSoft Finance ERP modules while contributing to our transformation to **Oracle ERP Fusion** . This role requires strong technical development skills and close collaboration with team members, leaders, and product owners.
What You'll Do
+ Provide technical support for business solutions and systems development.
+ Drive effective use of technology within the enterprise architecture.
+ Lead technical aspects of tools, methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
+ Research and implement technical improvements; proactively communicate solutions to leadership and business partners.
+ Mentor and guide other developers.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues.
+ Analyze requirements to determine feasibility, costs, benefits, and ensure prudent use of resources.
+ Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to resolve issues and deliver enhancements.
+ Design, implement, and support new and existing processes, including **Oracle ERP** , Java integrations, PeopleSoft AE/SQR, and Linux batch scripts.
+ Modernize legacy applications using contemporary technologies, including migration from PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud ERP.
+ Partner with ERP teams, system leads, and business stakeholders to deliver enhancements aligned with best practices.
+ Drive continuous improvement for a seamless, modernized user experience.
+ Provide rotational off-hours technical support for escalated issues.
+ Participate in analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation activities.
+ Manage incident resolution and service requests with proper prioritization
**Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.**

Skills/Requirements
What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
Experience:
+ 5+ years of development experience in PeopleSoft and Linux
+ Hands-on experience with system implementations, especially PeopleSoft to Oracle Cloud ERP transformations.
Technical Skills:
+ PeopleSoft development (SQR, Application Engine, etc.) experience is required.
+ Experience in Linux scripting combined with Autosys-based automation is required.
+ Oracle ERP integration experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) is desired.
+ Open systems development (Java) is a plus.
+ Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
