Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Test Engineering Manager 2.** This position will be located in **Roy, Utah** and will support the **Sentinel program** .
This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
Essential Functions will include:
+ Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment.
+ Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices.
+ Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed.
+ Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements.
+ Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
+ 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelors Degree; 6 years with a Masters
+ Must have an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope, with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need
+ Experience working within a cross functional integrated product team (IPT).
+ At least 1 year of experience with Cost Account Manager (CAM) or managing EV for an engineering team.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
+ US Citizenship with an Active Top-Secret Clearance or higher (awarded within the past 6 years) with the ability to receive a Special Access Program (SAP) certification.
+ Previous ICBM ground systems experience
+ Experience managing both high dollar and PERT material accounts
+ Experience managing and coordinating with suppliers and coordinating supplier statements of work (SSOW)
+ Active SAP access
+ Experience working within an agile environment utilizing Atlassian tool suites to track progress and performance for EVMS.
+ Familiarity with Sentinel test process and procedures
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
Primary Level Salary Range: $126,600.00 - $189,800.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
