Special Education Teacher – Elementary Resource Support (LBS1)

Pay: $50 per hour

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 2:30 PM (30-min unpaid break)

Start Date: First Week of March – May 22nd (possible extension through June 1st)

About the Role

Are you passionate about supporting students with diverse learning needs? We are seeking two Special Education Teachers (LBS1) to provide resource support for elementary students in an inclusive, collaborative environment. This is an in-person role focused on delivering individualized instruction and interventions that help students thrive academically and socially.

Responsibilities

+ Provide resource support and specialized instruction for elementary students

+ Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers

+ Implement IEP goals and maintain accurate documentation

+ Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment

Qualifications

+ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university (preferred)

+ Valid Illinois Teaching Certificate with LBS1 endorsement required

+ Experience providing LBS1 resource support strongly preferred

+ CPR Certification (if applicable)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements
