The Physician Assistant provides medical services to patients of all ages under the direction of a physician; collects and documents patient data, conducts diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, orders and schedules laboratory studies and provides professional consultations and direct patient care services. The Physician Assistant works in all specialty and primary care areas, diagnosing and treating common illnesses and performing minor procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Physician's Assistant Certificate of Registration or License from the New Jersey state Medical Board

+ Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants preferred; may be required by state regulations or contract specifications.

+ 2 or more years of direct patient care required

+ Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred

+ Current and unrestricted DEA certification

+ Ability to work without direct supervision and practice autonomously

+ Access to transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance

+ Managed Care/IPA/Health Plan experience

+ Experience conducting annual wellness visits or similar comprehensive visits virtually or in the home required

+ BLS certified required

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
