Amergis Healthcare Staffing is partnered with an Adult Day Habilitation (DayHab) Facility, in Acton, MA, that is currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time contract assignment.
Position Details
+ Start Date: ASAP (approximately 2 weeks from offer)
+ Duration: 13 weeks
+ Schedule:
+ Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
+ No weekends
+ Pay Rate: $50/hour
+ Dress Code: Business Casual
POSITION DESCRIPTIONEssential Duties and Responsibilities:
+ Provide nursing care and administer medications to Adult Day Health participants in accordance with individualized plans of care, physician orders, and emergent medical needs
+ Accurately document clinical notes, progress notes, and nursing interventions in participants’ medical records
+ Coordinate the completion and accuracy of all initial, annual, and ongoing participant assessments, ensuring timely completion of MDS documentation where required
+ Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop, review, and revise participant care plans on an ongoing basis
+ Respond appropriately and promptly to acute changes in participant health status or functional ability
+ Monitor participants with Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia, recognizing changes in condition and reporting concerns per established protocols
+ Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and clinical standards governing Adult Day Health programs
+ Communicate the organization’s mission, values, and strategic direction in a consistent and professional manner to internal staff and external partners
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
+ Current Registered Nurse license within the state of practice.
+ One year of DayHab experience within the last three years preferred.
+ Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice
+ Participation and completion of Amergis' Competency program when applicable
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Successful completion of new hire training as applicable to job site
+ Understand patient confidentiality and HIPAA requirements
+ Ability to effectively elicit/provide information to and from appropriate individuals (including, but not limited to, supervisors, co-workers, clients) via strong communication skills; proficiency in the English language is required
+ Computer proficiency required
+ Must be at least 18 years of age
