Special Education Teacher – $45/hr – Beloit, WI – Full-time – 18 Weeks

Position Overview:

Amergis is seeking dedicated Special Education Teachers to support elementary students in Beloit-area schools for the upcoming academic year. These full-time roles offer competitive compensation and the opportunity to make a lasting impact in inclusive and specialized learning environments.

Assignment Details:

+ Location: Beloit, WI

+ Start Date: January 19, 2026

+ End Date: June 2026

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday, 37.5 hours/week

+ Duration: 18 weeks

+ Pay Rate: $45/hour

+ Openings: 6 positions

+ Modality: In-person

Responsibilities:

+ Deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals

+ Support students with diverse needs, including cognitive, behavioral, and developmental challenges

+ Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers

+ Monitor progress and adjust interventions based on student data

+ Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines

+ Foster a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment

Requirements:

+ Valid Wisconsin DPI license with appropriate Special Education endorsement

+ Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field (Master’s preferred)

+ Experience with inclusive practices, behavior management, and differentiated instruction

+ Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

+ Commitment to equity, student advocacy, and continuous professional growth

+ Current CPR certification (if applicable)

+ TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray (if applicable)

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
