    School Speech-LanguagePathologist (SLP) Needed (Short-Term Coverage)

    Pay Rate: $60/hour

    Hours: 37.5 hours/week

     

    Openings: 2 positions

    Start Dates:

    + Position 1: February 17, 2026 – May 26, 2026

    + Position 2: April 6, 2026 – May 26, 2026

     

    (Last day ofschool is May 26, a teacher workday. Assignment can end Friday prior toMemorial Day or include the last workday to finish notes.)

    PositionOverview

    We are seeking twoSpeech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to provide short-term coverage forelementary-aged students in Shawnee Mission, KS. These roles are ideal forprofessionals who enjoy working in a school setting and making an impact in afocused timeframe.

     

    SLP-CFYswill be considered!

     

    This is a fantasticopportunity to gain hands-on experience in a school environment. Workingwith Amergis can also open doors to additional opportunities, and theseassignments could potentially lead to a longer-term role for the next schoolyear.

    KeyResponsibilities

    + Provide speech and language therapy services to elementary students.

    + Complete evaluations, progress notes, and documentation in compliance with district and state standards.

    + Collaborate with school staff to support student communication needs.

    Qualifications

    + Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Kansas.

    + Previous experience in a school setting preferred.
