The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.
Minimum Requirements:
+ A certification from an accredited ultrasound school
+ One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.
+ Current CPR if applicable
+ TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
+ Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
+ Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
+ Must be at least 18 years of age

Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Shift: Days | 5x8s | 08:00–17:00
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a high-performing hospital team in Oakland, CA. This role covers General Radiology and Cardiology, with a strong emphasis on Vascular Ultrasound. OB scanning is light at this site, with more OB coverage handled at the Summit campus.
Travel Pay Package
+ $1,280 taxable income
+ $1,659 stipends
RequirementsCertifications (Required)
+ BLS (AHA)
+ ARDMS – AB
+ ARDMS – RVT
Experience (Required)
+ 1+ year full-time hospital Ultrasound Tech experience
+ EPIC charting experience
Schedule
+ Monday–Friday
+ Weekends as needed
