    Summary

    NVR is accelerating its enterprise AI strategy. As our Principal Advanced Analytics Engineer, you will set technical standards and lead the end-to-end design, development, and productionization of Microsoft-based AI, ML, and BI solutions. You will partner with business leaders and engineering teams to turn complex data into actionable decisions while mentoring engineers, championing responsible AI, and consistently delivering outstanding customer service.

     

    Key Job Responsibilities

     

    + Work with business stakeholders and senior technology leaders to design and implement AI/ML predictive and prescriptive models, ensuring business fit and technical viability.

    + Define and enforce engineering standards, design patterns, and quality checks for advanced analytics.

    + Implement CI/CD for ML, including model versioning, automated testing, monitoring, drift detection, and retraining using Fabric + Azure ML.

    + Ensure Responsible AI practices: fairness, bias detection, explainability, and compliance.

    + Design enterprise data models (dimensional/star schemas) supporting BI and Data Agents.

    + Collaborate with analytics and insights teams to deliver efficient and reliable data solutions.

    + Ensure data security, access control, lineage, and adherence to corporate standards and privacy regulations.

    + Research new and evolving ML, AI, and BI capabilities and introduce them to the team and users.

    + Mentor Data Analytics Engineers on problem-solving, best practices, and career growth.

    Job Qualifications

    Must-Have Qualifications

    + 8+ years in data engineering/analytics roles, with at least 3 years in ML/AI solution architecture.

    + Effective communication, customer service, and engagement skills.

    + Advanced skills in Microsoft Analytics Toolset (Fabric, Azure ML, Azure Synapse, Azure ADF, Power BI, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Notebooks, Pipelines, Dataflows, Spark, Python).

    + Experience training, validating, and deploying predictive and generative AI models (LLMs) with Fabric + Azure ML.

    + Skilled in dimensional/star schema data model design for use by Data Agents and BI applications.

    + Hands-on experience with CI/CD for ML, model versioning, monitoring, and retraining using Fabric/Azure ML.

    + Experience ensuring data security, lineage, access control, and compliance with corporate standards and privacy regulations.

     

    Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Preferred)

     

    + Experience with Power BI and semantic models.

    + Knowledge of fairness, bias detection, explainability, and AI compliance.

    + Performance tuning for Spark workloads and cost optimization in Fabric/Azure.

    + BS/MS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
