Job Description:

Client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Implementation Specialist to join their team, specializing in Connectrix DCX-7 and 7730B / SANNav solutions. responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex network infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Describe Connectrix key features and capabilities, including their use in an IT environment

+ Explain Connectrix management options and tools, including hardware and software configurations

+ Provide in-depth knowledge of Connectrix architecture, key terminology, and hardware/software options

+ Discuss the features and functions offered with B-series products, including FCOE capabilities

+ Describe the Connectrix solution client offers and its key use cases

+ Identify different B-series switch and director models, as well as available blades

+ List tasks for switch initial setup and management options for B-series products

+ Explain the steps required for basic installation of B-series switches or directors

+ Describe Fabric login and Name services, popular fabric topologies, and Fibre channel protocol

+ Discuss Gen 6 director hardware and extension blade hardware/software overview

+ Explain interoperability and support for Connectrix in CloudIQ

+ Describe IO Insight introduction and MAPS updates

+ Discuss IPEXT feature enhancements and deployment considerations for common fabric features

+ Explain deployment considerations for zoning, fabric expansion, and fabric virtualization

+ Describe steps required for basic installation of MDS series switches or directors

+ Provide knowledge of platform software, licensing, security, and FabricOS updates

+ Explain the 3 ESRS solutions and remote connectivity life cycle

+ Describe the technical training video series from Brocade Education, including task-specific tools and procedures

+ Explain the tools used to manage Connectrix B-Series and MDS-Series switches, as well as licensing schema

+ Describe the knowledge required to install and perform maintenance on a Connectrix SAN environment

+ Provide knowledge on MDS-series switches and director models, basic understanding of features and functions, and management options

Requirements:

+ In-depth knowledge of Connectrix DCX-7 and 7730B / SANNav solutions.

+ Strong understanding of network infrastructure and architecture.

+ Experience with Fibre channel protocol, its place in the OSI model, and addressing/naming conventions.

+ Familiarity with Gen 6 director hardware and extension blade hardware/software.

+ Ability to design, implement, and manage complex network infrastructure solutions.

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Excellent communication and presentation skills.

+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

+ Experience with remote connectivity and its various options.

+ Knowledge of platform software, licensing, security, and FabricOS updates.

+ Familiarity with the 3 ESRS solutions and remote connectivity life cycle.

+ Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies and solutions.

+ Strong technical skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.

+ Experience with task-specific tools and procedures for Brocade products.

+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Strong understanding of SAN zoning, fabric expansion, and fabric virtualization.

+ Familiarity with IO Insight introduction and MAPS updates.

Position Details:

+ Pay Rate / Range:____$53.68-$63.68______

_The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position’s responsibilities; the candidate’s experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions._
