Manhattan Beer and Beverage Distributors now has 1.5 million feet of warehouse space, the distribution rights to 300 brands, 400 trucks and services 15 counties. Our aim is to provide great service to all of our customers from the convenience store owner to our big chain operators, restaurants, bars and hotels.

How Will You Contribute?
The HR Coordinator plays an integral role in supporting the Chief People Officer and advancing key HR operations and initiatives. This position provides high-level coordination and administrative support across the HR function, ensuring processes run smoothly, deadlines are met, and strategic priorities are effectively supported.
What Will Your Focus Be?
+ Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Chief People Officer.
+ Support and participate in key HR initiatives, projects, programs, and employee-related events.
+ Serve as a first point of contact for employee inquiries, providing timely and accurate information on HR policies, procedures, and programs.
+ Maintain and manage confidential employee records, ensuring compliance with data privacy and record-retention requirements.
+ Coordinate with the recruiting team to facilitate pre-employment screening, onboarding, and new hire orientation processes.
+ Process employee lifecycle transactions—including transfers, promotions, and terminations—accurately within the HRIS, acting as a liaison between managers, employees, and departments.
+ Assist in the development, documentation, and continuous improvement of HRIS workflows and processes to support employee lifecycle activities and reporting needs.
+ Provide HR front-desk and phone coverage, including responding to inquiries, directing calls, and managing messages professionally.
+ Process HR-related expenses, assist with invoice tracking, and support vendor coordination as needed.
+ Prepare and maintain HR reports and dashboards by extracting key metrics from the HRIS and related systems.
+ Manage office and HR supply inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and maintaining organized storage areas to support daily operations.
Position Requirements:
+ B.A. in a related field.
+ 3 years of preferred experience in HR or 3 years of experience in a comparable role with a strong interest in HR.
+ Experience in handling and maintaining highly confidential information.
+ Experience dealing with HRIS systems required.
+ Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
+ Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ Strong time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
+ Flexibility to work extended hours.
Hourly Salary: $30.00
