As a Construction Manager, Power Infrastructure, you will support the delivery of power infrastructure projects that enable reliable and scalable data center operations. Your role will focus on coordinating day-to-day construction activities by tracking schedules, costs, risks, and contractor performance in partnership with power developers and delivery partners. Working closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, you will help translate project requirements and contractual obligations into disciplined field execution that supports broader data center development objectives.
From a construction delivery perspective, you will assist in coordinating power infrastructure construction activities, supporting compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards while helping maintain control of schedule and budget performance. You will work with developers, contractors, and internal partners to identify and resolve execution issues, escalate risks that could impact delivery, and support continuous improvement across assigned projects. By applying strong organizational skills, sound technical judgment, and a proactive problem-solving approach, you will help ensure power infrastructure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in alignment with long-term operational needs.

Construction Support & Project Review: Develop a strong understanding of power infrastructure projects supporting data center developments. Support oversight of developer-led construction activities and coordinate with stakeholders to help identify and address execution issues that could impact safety, schedule, cost, or quality.
Construction Standards Application: Support the application of standardized construction management practices related to safety, quality, schedule, and cost control, ensuring alignment with established project requirements and expectations.
Schedule Tracking & Field Coordination: Track construction schedules, coordinate sequencing activities with power developers and contractors, and support identification of impacts or recovery actions required to maintain key milestones.
Cost & Change Tracking: Monitor construction budgets, commitments, forecasts, and change activity, supporting financial discipline and timely escalation of cost impacts or emerging trends.
Risk Identification & Issue Escalation: Assist in identifying construction-related risks, constructability challenges, and coordination gaps. Escalate issues and potential impacts to senior team members to support mitigation and resolution.
Quality & Compliance Monitoring: Support monitoring of compliance with approved QA/QC plans, technical requirements, and applicable codes and standards, assisting in resolution and closeout of identified quality issues.
Safety Support: Promote safety best practices and support validation of compliance with Site Specific Safety Plans across construction activities, reinforcing a strong safety culture on project sites.
Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate with internal engineering, program management, commissioning, and operations teams, as well as power developers and contractors, to support alignment and effective communication throughout construction.
Site Engagement: Participate in regular project site visits to support validation of progress, coordination, safety, and quality, and to help identify potential execution risks or gaps.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by identifying recurring issues, lessons learned, and opportunities to strengthen construction execution across power infrastructure projects.
Work from home/remote but travel will be required. Mostly 25% but can be higher at times.
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in power infrastructure construction management supporting large-scale or mission-critical projects.
+ Strong understanding of construction and project management fundamentals, including schedule, cost, risk, and quality control.
+ Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate with developers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
+ Demonstrated leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and support effective resolution in active construction environments.
+ Proven ability to work effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams and external partners across multiple projects.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of engineering or related experience.
