Responsibilities:

+ Cleans and sanitizes patients' rooms and bathrooms daily.

+ Disposes of trash and replenishes supplies according to proper procedures.

+ Moves furniture and other fixtures to dust and mop floor, resets furniture to present an attractive environment for patients and visitors.

+ Washes walls behind sinks and commodes.

+ Cleans and disinfects isolation rooms adhering to proper policy and procedures.

+ Cleans and disinfects ancillary areas. (Utility and linen rooms, nurse's stations, lounges, etc.).

+ Cleans and disinfects water fountains, sinks in hallways, telephones, and chair rails.

+ Vacuums carpets and damp dusts furniture weekly in office areas.

+ Empties trash and uses hand sweeper on carpets daily.

+ Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash.

Schedule: 7AM - 3:30PM. The schedule will typically work rotating days. This will clean all area of the hospital needed. Must be able to work weekends and holidays. May be pulled to other areas/shifts/days/ at the needs of the Hospital.
