    **Overnight (White) Shift** : 6p-6a, 2-2-3 Split

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    + Grinding of scrap parts

    + Operating the rail side unloading system

    + Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

    + Grinding area Inside and outside rail car areas

    + Pump houses

    + Silo areas

    + Maintain housekeeping standards of assigned areas

    + Minor maintenance of equipment

    + Maintain and operate the material loading system

    + Operate the plastic extruder

    JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

    + Must be able to work outside for short periods of time

    + Physically able to bend, squat, twist, climb, reach and lift 50 pounds without assistance

    + Must be able to effectively communicate in writing and orally with others

    + Must follow all safety procedures

    + Must wear/ use all required PPE, to include, but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, mechanics gloves (when required), steel toe boots, etc.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    + Lift Truck certified (preferred, but not necessary.) If not certified in lift truck, must become certified in reasonable amount of time

    + Material Tech/Grinders working on a Continuous Ops shift – knowledge of resins/materials/colors is preferred

    + Knowledge of the extrusion process or experience running an extruder preferred
