    + JOB REQUIREMENTS

    + Education

    + Completion of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. Experience in clinical computer oriented computer science (information systems) preferred. Clinical licensure or certification required.

    + Experience

    + Minimum of three years’ experience and knowledge of clinical practices and procedures as acquired through experience in acute care hospitals. Knowledgeable of hospital and clinical department’s policies and procedures and familiar with work activities of areas/units throughout the hospital as acquired through experience. Experience in managing work projects and planning and implementation of clinical systems preferred. Good written and oral communications skills required. Ability to support 40% of applications used by SBHC.

    + Normal hospital environment. Exposure to biological hazards. Close eye work. Occasional exposure to unpleasant odors. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Distinguish smells. Distinguish temperatures by touch and proximity. Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling up to 40 pounds. Frequent sitting, standing, bending, stooping, walking, and reaching.

    + Actively participates in the design, development, and implementation of clinical systems and coordinates activities between clients and IS with these systems.
