Temporary Admissions Counselor (Part-Time)

Northwestern College has an opening for a temporary, part-time admissions counselor. This position begins immediately and will continue through May–June (timeline is flexible and negotiable). The role is part-time (up to 75%) and compensated on an hourly basis.

This position involves managing a recruitment portfolio of students and territories and promoting Northwestern’s Stand Out brand to encourage prospective students to engage with Raider Nation and eventually enroll. Responsibilities include strategic communication with prospective students (in-person, phone, email, text, etc.), traveling to visit students and schools as needed, and providing exceptional hospitality during on-campus recruitment events, including group and individual visits.

A minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required. An ideal candidate will exhibit Northwestern’s Team Red values (relational, energized, driven), be well organized, and be able to speak and write clearly and effectively. Knowledge of and commitment to Christian higher education is expected.
