    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Senior Environment Infrastructure Support Specialist to join on of our client’s Release and Environment Management team. This is a hands-on technical role focused on scripting (primarily PowerShell) and environment/infrastructure management—not a monitoring or managerial position. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of experience in managing application environments and infrastructure to ensure stability, reliability, and readiness for releases and deployments. This role is 3x onsite in Plano, TX.

    Skills and Requirements

    • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in environment or infrastructure management roles.

     

    o Strong knowledge of environment management processes, including setup, refresh, and maintenance.

     

    • Hands-on experience with infrastructure tools and technologies (e.g., VMware, AWS, Azure).

    • Experience with Oracle and SAP maintenance and performance optimization.

    • Proficiency in scripting languages, especially PowerShell and Python for automation.

    • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub, or similar).

    • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Splunk, AppDynamics, Nagios).

    • Solid understanding of network configuration, server setup, and storage management.

    • Experience with documentation and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, SharePoint).

    • Previous experience in Agile Environment

    • Skills in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

    • Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident and change management.

    • Experience with environment provisioning using tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Chef.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
