Job Description

Our client is seeking a travelling construction superintendent to support projects ranging across the southeast. This role will be supporting primarily multi-family and storage unit construction projects and collaborating with teams ranging VA, NC, SC, TN, GA, FL. The position will require the ability to be on site 5 days a week across multiple projects at a time.

• Supervise and coordinate all onsite construction activities for the project.

• Ensure all work is performed in accordance with project documents, architectural design intent, building codes, and the established project schedule.

• Collaborate closely with the Project Management team to meet and maintain project budget goals.

• Lead, manage, and motivate field personnel and subcontractors

• Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications with exceptional accuracy and understanding.

• Develop and maintain project schedules in MS Project

• Coordinate multiple subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and seamless execution of work.

• Conduct site inspections and ensure Class A-level quality control for all finishes and systems.

• Prepare comprehensive daily reports in Procore documenting weather, manpower, equipment usage, progress, and site conditions.

• Oversee completion of final punch lists, ensuring projects meet or exceed ownership and client expectations.

Maintain open communication with architects, designers, clients, and internal stakeholders to uphold project excellence.

Skills and Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a construction superintendent working on specifically multifamily construction projects

- Affordable housing, Student housing, Senior living, Hotels, Apartments, Condos. No Duplexes or independent townhouses, or luxury residential homes

• Must have worked directly for a General Contractor with a primarily multi-family focus

• Proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project for project documentation, scheduling, and coordination.

• Valid OSHA 30-Hour Certification and First Aid/CPR training required or obtainable upon hire.

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for regular travel to project sites
