Job Description

An employer in Houston, TX is seeking a Sr. Technical Project Manager for their Software Engineering organization. He or she will be responsible for scheduling, execution, delivery of end-to-end solutions. This person will be responsible for multiple projects, engaging with Engineering leaders, Product management, Architects, and Product Quality teams to understand requirements, monitor scope, and facilitate product completion, delivery, and continuous operation. They will be the core team lead and work as a liaison with multiple cross-functional groups both internal and external. Candidate will also be responsible to plan specific software development areas and tasks that include solution design, analysis, coding, testing, integration, and delivery, so this person should have some basic software development understanding. Project work will be AI focused, so this person needs to have hands on experience working with AI generated solutions. This individual must have strong communication skills as they will be interacting with multiple groups and individuals. This role is local to Houston and must be good with hybrid onsite work scheduled. Based on knowledge and years of experience, this position offers a pay range of $40-50/hr.

Skills and Requirements

5+ years of experience in a Technical Project Management role

Experience in handling multiple projects at once

Software development understanding - able to analyze basic code in any various type of language

Previous hands-on experience working with AI tools and integrating into project delivery

Strong sense of urgency and communication PMI certification

AI certifications
