• IT Project Manager - Security Network Access

    Job Description

    Insight Global is seeking a Project Manager to join a utility company remotely working eastern hours. This Project Manager will be driving at various cyber initiatives across network access segmentation and web access control. They will be expected to lead projects that define which device types can connect to the corporate network and advance ongoing hardening efforts. The Project Manager will handle vendor access to equipment in data centers, area work centers, and substations by enforcing tightly scoped communication protocols (e.g., ensuring connectivity so nothing in or out falls outside approved channels) and lock down site access by partnering with security and IT to build, govern, and maintain value‑website allow/deny lists. The Project Manager will also be expected to manage scope, schedule, risks, and stakeholders and report progress using MS Project. A Project Manager who has previously worked on delivering similar security hardening/segmentation efforts end‑to‑end is necessary. The team will be using Airlock as a web‑gateway tool so any exposure to it is a plus.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    -8+ years experience as an IT Project Manager

     

    -Experience working on delivering security hardening/segmentation efforts end‑to‑end

     

    -PMP Certified

     

    -Experience with Microsoft Project -Exposure to web-gateway tools like Airlock

     

    -Experience with Powerbi or Tableau or similar tools
