    Job Description

    An employer is seeking a direct hire Senior SRE for an onsite role in the Cincinnati area to support large‑scale cloud data platforms. This role focuses on Azure‑based analytics environments, including Synapse, Databricks, and emerging Snowflake workloads. You’ll build automation using Terraform, improve reliability across data pipelines, and collaborate closely with data engineering teams.

    Skills and Requirements

     

    4+ years of experience in SRE, DevOps, or DevSecOps

    Strong experience with Azure cloud services

    Hands‑on experience supporting large data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, etc.)

     

    Experience with Terraform for cloud infrastructure automation

     

    Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Bamboo, or CircleCI

     

    Ability to build and maintain CI/CD pipelines

     

    Strong troubleshooting skills, especially in data‑centric environments

     

    Ability to mentor junior engineers and guide them through complex issues Exposure to or experience with Snowflake migrations
