• Production Systems Engineer Intern

    Summary:

    Meta is seeking a Production Systems Engineer Intern to join our Release to Production Engineering team. Come learn about our advanced power and hardware architecture, which supports a highly optimized infrastructure. Our servers and data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure operates and upon which our services are delivered. Production Systems Engineers in this role build tooling and infrastructure to support the validation of upcoming and existing platforms in the AI space.Internships are twelve (12) to sixteen (16) weeks long.

    Required Skills:

    Production Systems Engineer Intern Responsibilities:

    1. Enhance and maintain existing tools and automation frameworks based on specifications

    2. Define, develop, implement, and maintain frameworks for various hardware products throughout the whole product lifecycle

    3. Work with partner teams to utilize existing test frameworks and explore new use cases

    4. Interface with internal and external teams to build necessary ports to connect with other tools

    5. Analyze data from large scale fleet across different dimensions

    Minimum Qualifications:

    6. Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field

    7. Experience with object oriented design, programming, and analysis

    8. Software Development experience with Python, Rust, Go, C++, Java, and/or PHP

    9. Knowledge of Linux/Unix environments

    10. Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and maintain ongoing work authorization during employment

    11. Intent to return to degree-program after the completion of the internship/co-op

    12. Software Development experience in a high-level language like Python, Rust, Go

    13. Experience in hacking and prototyping

    14. Familiarity with hardware design and NPI development lifecycle

    Public Compensation:

    $6,813/month to $10,200/month + benefits
